  • Hailing from Fargo, North Dakota, Dan Fitzgibbons created strong roots in this community prior to relocating to Minneapolis. Although best known through film and television today, Fargo is North Dakota’s most populous city with 16% of the state’s population or 115,000+ residents according to the 2014 census. Its name hails from William Fargo, founder of Wells Fargo Express Company and director of the Northern Pacific Railway that passed through the area by the late 1800s. The city is well-known for more than its Hollywood fame; rather, its industrial, educational, cultural, healthcare and retail resources have led it to become one of the fastest growing small cities in America.
